Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, I’ve been a hopeless romantic since the day I was born. My babysitter and my mom both love daytime soap operas and made-for-TV movies, which is why at a very young age, I developed inappropriate crushes on Davy Jones from The Monkees and Orry Main (aka Patrick Swayze) from “North and South.” My addiction to happily ever afters grew when I discovered books and my first book boyfriend was Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre. Today, I live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband, son, and a tuxedo cat.
